Emofeed is an independent storytelling publication dedicated to original, long-form true stories about family, love, motherhood, loyalty, and the moments that change a life. We believe a well-told story can do something a headline cannot: it can stay with you.
What We Cover
Every story we publish falls into one of seven categories: Trending, Family, Love, Heroes, Motherhood, Animals, and Inspiring. We cover topics that resonate with our readers — single mothers raising children on their own, sibling reunions decades in the making, animal rescues that defy explanation, and quiet acts of courage by people most of the world will never hear about.
Our Editorial Standards
We do not republish or aggregate content from other publications. Every article on Emofeed is written from scratch by our editorial team. We change names and identifying details when subjects request it, and we verify the central facts of every story we publish.
Our standards in short:
- Original writing only. No scraped or rewritten content from other sites.
- Long-form by default. Most of our articles run 1,500–3,500 words.
- No misleading headlines. If the headline promises a twist, the article delivers it.
- Respect for subjects. Names and locations may be changed for privacy, but the emotional truth of the story is never altered.
- No harmful content. We do not publish anything designed to deceive, defame, or distress vulnerable readers.
Who Reads Emofeed
Our readers are primarily English-speaking women between the ages of 30 and 65, located across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Ireland. They come to us for stories they can read in a quiet half hour and remember for a week.
Our Team
Emofeed is a small, independent editorial team based in the United States. Our writers come from backgrounds in journalism, literary nonfiction, and family-focused publishing. We publish two to four new articles each week.
